Who owns this site
The Data Licensing Report is published by Income Navigators LLC. The editor is Mark Kessler. Mark started Operating Data Advisors to help established business owners make a clear-eyed decision about licensing their records to AI developers, without hype and without pressure. He'll tell you plainly if your company isn't a fit, and walk you through every step if it is.
Our financial interest
Income Navigators LLC also operates Operating Data Advisors, which introduces businesses to data buyers, and Data Referral Partners, a referral program. We may be paid referral fees by some of the buyers we write about. No company pays for coverage, reviews our reporting before publication, or decides what we include. Where a report names a company we may be paid by, this disclosure applies.
How we label information
- Verified means confirmed by a company's formal terms or by an independent news outlet.
- Company claim means a marketing statement, a single source, or a figure we could not confirm. Payout ranges on company websites are always labeled as claims.
- Every report shows the date it was last updated, and every figure links to its source.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, email editor@thedatalicensingreport.com. We correct errors promptly and note the change on the page.
What we don't do
We don't give legal, tax or privacy advice, and we don't promise what any business will be paid. Talk to your own lawyer before signing a data license.
