What is AI data licensing?
AI data licensing is when a business gives an AI company written permission to use a defined set of its past records, such as email, documents, chat and support tickets, to train AI systems, in exchange for payment. Names and identifying details are usually removed first. The business keeps its originals, and the license sets which systems and years are covered, how the data may be used, and whether the deal is exclusive.
